MAC

So the other day I was doing a little bit of online shopping and I ened up ordering a few little things from MAC! The three products I got are ones that I have had my eye on for a long time now. So this is what I got......

I got two eye shadows and a lipstick. I got the eye shadows in the pan form so they can fit into my pro pallete which I am currently building up. The shades of the eyeshadows I got are Satin-Tope and Woodwinked. These are really wearable shades and both are so pretty. They are probably now some of my favourite eyeshadows I own.

The other thing i got from MAC is this lipstick in the shade 'Up the amp' and it is a really pretty purple colour and I have been wearing it loads, as I am a big fan of purple lipsticks!

I hope you have enjoyed this little post today. I will be back soon with another update!

Autumn Favourites

So I have put together some of my favourite products I have been using this autumn and some fashion bits and pieces as well. All of these products are things I have been using over the past month and I will probably continue to use for the rest of autumn and going onto Christmas.
*Just want to say a thank-you to my lovely friend Katharina for letting me use her photo*
One of my accessories favourites this autumn has been this tartan scarf from accessorize. The scarf was £19 but I then used my student discount so it then went down to £17. It is so warm and I have been wearing it loads lately. I have been wearing my tartan scarf with my demin jacket or my black boyfriend jacket and it is defiantly one of my favourite things to wear the the moment. There are two pairs of boots I have been loving this autumn and they are both from topshop one of the pair of boots I got from topshop last year and they were £72 but I think they have done a cheaper pair this year for £45 which is a much more reasonable price. The other pair of boots are these lovely cut out boots, with a gold buckle these were £45. Booth of these boots look so so cute with a skirt and tights or shorts and tights. They also look really cute with rolled up jeans or just with jeans tucked into the boots.

The next few products that I have been loving are Collection's Lipstick from the little mix range. I have the Perrie and it is a lovely purple and I have been loving purple lipsticks at the moment but this is defiantly my favourite. The lipstick was only £2.99 which is such a good price for a really good lipstick I find the lipstick to be really moisturising and hydrating for my lips it is just an all round amazing lipstick and I will probably end up re purchasing it.

The next product I have been loving through autumn is this revlon lipgloss in 'Berry Allure' this lipgloss goes amazingly with the collection lipstick. I have been paring these two together and they look so lovely. The next product I have been loving is This MAC eyeshadow in cranberry, this looks lovely all over the lid or with a light brown and then cranberry in the crease to make it a cranberry smokey eye.

Thank you for reading my autumn favourites! I will updating again later this week. Hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Boots, Primark, Topshop, River Island and Lush Haul.

Helloooo again, I haven't wrote a blog post in a long time due to my laptop being broken but I am going to try and start posting weekly again.

So on with the haul! As I had a day off from college today I thought I would go into town and have a little bit of a look around, well this then resulted in me buying a few things the I probably don't even need. But anyway as you can tell from the title of this blog post I went to quite a few different shops so here we go!

The first shop I went into was boots. Well at the moment boots has a 3 for 2 offer so I took advantage of this offer and picked up a few things I have had my eye on for a while.

I did buy six products but one of them is a gift for a friend and I know that she will read this blog post so I haven't shown that certain product in this haul. But anyways the first thing I got was a lipstick, it is from collection and it is in the little mix range the one I got is the 'Perrie'. I have been wanting a purple lipstick for a long time now and I saw that one so I thought I might as well try it out, its a really pretty purple and it is just the colour i was looking for. I then got a Revlon lipgloss in the shade '225 - Berry Allure' this lipgloss is very shear and works really nice with the lipstick I got!

The next thing I got is something every 'Beauty Guru' has raved about so i jumped on the bandwagon and brought this Maybelline New York, 24HR Color Tattoo. I already have one of this and its a really pretty gold colour but everyone seems to be going on about this one colour 'On and on Bronze' so I thought I would finally try it out.

I then got a eyeshadow pencil from Collection in the shade 'Vinilla Sky' and this is a lovely glittery champagne colour it works really nicely as a base or just on its own, I also used it as an inner-corner highlight. And finally the last thing I got from boots was a Rimmel London Scandaleyes Percision Micro Eyeliner, I really like this eye liner because the nib is really small so it is easy to get really close to the lashline.

Prices of Products -
  • Collection 'Perrie' lipstick - £2.99
  • Revlon lipgloss - £6.99
  • Rimmel London eyeliner - £5.49
  • Maybelline Color Tattoo - £4.99
  • Collection eyeshadow pencil - £3.19
Here is a few more close up pictures of the products I brought.

So the next shop I went into was Primark and I didnt really go in Primark becasue I needed anything I just thought i might as well have a little look around. As it is getting much colder now I thought it would be good to pick up a pair of gloves just to use until I can find some I really like. So I picked up these navy mitten/gloves. I love these types of gloves becasue I can still sort of use my phone but my hands dont get as cold. The gloves were only £3 so I'm not expecting them to last forever but I find a lot of chucky knit gloves always end up with holes in whatever price I end up paying.
Navy chunky knit mittens/gloves.
The next two shops i went to were Topshop adn River Island in both of these shops i brought some rings. I have been wanting some gold rings for ages now so I finally gpt some. I got three midi rings and one normal ring.

From the left, the first ring I got is from topshop and it was on sale for £2.25 which I think is a bargin. The next rings are all from River Island and they are all midi rings, all of the rings I brought go really nicely together, the two rings in the middle came as a pack of two and they were £2 and the last ring was also £2.

Finally the last place I went to was Lush. Now that christas is nearing lush have their christmas range out which is by far the best range they do! I restricted myself in lush and only brought one bath bomb even though so many caught my eye. I ended up geting a Goldon Wonder Ballistic and this is one of my all time favourite bath bombs from lush. It is so pretty and I am always amazed the way my bath turns out when i use this, I would try and explain the smell but I'm not very good at explaining smells! It is just an all round amazing bath bomb.

I hoped you enjoyed me rambling on about all the things I have brought today! I will try and update again next tuesday!

Product Review

Dream Touch Blush Review

So recently i have been trying out loads of new products as I find myself always buying the same products and playing it a bit safe with my make-up. When I saw this blush I thought it would be really nice to wear on an everyday purpose as it isn't anything to daring.

So the blush that I have been trying out is the Dream Touch blush by Mayeblline New York in the shade 07. When I looked at this product I really like the colour as I thought it would go well with my pale skin, I then swatched the blush on my hand and I loved the way it blended into my skin it has a really creamy feel to it and at first it looked really nice so I then went and purchased it.

When I was buying this product I didn't notice the amount of glitter and shimmer it had in it. When i got home and was trying it out it made by cheeks look like glitter balls, it was so glittery and shiny.

Later on I had the idea of using the blush as an eye shadow as it is just like a cream shadow, I then tried this out and it works as a really good eyeshadow base and looks really nice and pretty when you put MAC naked lunch eye shadow over the top.

I don't think I will repurchase this product but I will continue to use it as an eye shadow base for now.

hoped you all liked my product review, I'll be updating again on Tuesday. If you have any ideas that you would like be to do a post about please comment I am always in need of ideas!

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND 2013

So as you all know I attended London Fashion Weekend on Saturday 21st September, and it was such an amazing experience I would really like to attend more events like these. But anyways in my last post I talked about all the wonderful beauty products I got there, so if you haven't read that blog post please do! As this is my part 2 of the blog posts this one is going be more about the fashion show and the clothes rather than the make-up.

OOTD - London Fashion Weekend.

 Hat - h&m £7.99
Leather jacket - h&m £29.99
Top - Topshop £18
Skirt - Topshop £20
Bag (you can't really see it) - The Cambridge Satchel Company £105
Boots - Topshop £45

The fashion show that I went to was at 2pm none of the shows really had names as they used a number of brands instead of just one. The four collections that were included in the show were called Pretty in Pink, Back To Nature, Shape Up and Victoriana.

Pretty in Pink collection.

Back to Nature collection.

 Shape Up collection

Victoriana collection.

Out of all the collections I think the Victoriana collection was my favourite. It was so elegant and classy with the tailored trousers and pretty blouses I just want everything in this collection. Going to my first ever fashion show and being on the front row was an amazing experience. It also made me realise that I really want to work in the fashion industry as a make-up artist, after speaking to one of the shows artist it really inspired me.

hope you all enjoyed my blog post I'll be updating again on Sunday so I'll see you all soon!

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND 2013

Beauty Haul.

PART 1

Okaaaaaay, so for this blog post there is going to be a part 1 and part 2. As this is Part 1 I am going to be doing a little bit of a beauty haul on what i brought while I was at London Fashion Weekend, I will upload the second part later this week and that will be more about the show itself. Hope you enjoy my little ramble on the products I brought on the weekend.

On Saturday 21st September I went to Vodafone London Fashion Weekend, my mum had been lucky enough to win us a pair of VIP tickets for the show. This tickets included a Goodie bag, a Shop and the lot ticket which is your ticket for the shopping part of the event and then front row tickets to one of the fashion shows. In the goodie bags we got there was a slection of cool items including: Maybelline New York, Volum Express, Color Shock Mascara in the shade 'Electric blue' I havent worked out how im going to pull of the blue mascara look, but I'm sure it will come in useful at some point. In the goodie bags we also got a Maybelline New York Color Show in the shade '210 Red Grained'.In the gooide bags there were also some samples of some tea, coffee, hair products and some beauty sweets. I think the tote bag that all the goodies came in was stunning the colours are really vibrant and the big cheetah print is stunning.

There were so many different brands at London Fashion Weekend you could buy anything from sunglasses to underware. One brand that perticaully stood out to me was Mayblline New York and they were proably the busiest brand there. Mayblline had these fantastic boxes that you could buy for just £10 each box had a different look in it. There were 4 to choose from and i decided to buy my two favourite the products that I got were 3 Color Show nail polishes in the shades: 77 NEBLINE, 191 ORANGE FIX & 677 BLACKOUT. I also got a 'Dream Touch Blush' in the shade '07 BERRY', there was also two mascaras the 'Mega Plush Volum' Express' and 'The Rocket Volum' Express. I was so happy that one of the boxes encluded the Rocket mascara because that is one of my all time favourites! Another one of the products I got was the Super Stay 24 hour waterproof powder, I really like this powder but the shade that was in the box is to dark for me, but I will be re-buying this powder in a lighter shade. I also got one of the new Brow Drama (sculpting brow mascara) I have it in the shade dark brown and at first I was thinking that it would be way to dark but it actaully leaves my brows a really nice colour and a lot more full, another product I got was the master duo thin or thick glossy eyeliner, this is a really nice eye liner and is so easy to work with as I always find eye liner a little bit of a struggle but this is an all round good product and the last Mayblline product is one of there Baby lips and this is the Hydrate one which is one of my favourite so it is nice to know I have a spare one laying around. Here are some pictures of the products I brought....
