Too Faced | Sweet Peach

I'm so excited to finally have my hands on the Sweet Peach eyeshadow and Glow palette from Too Faced! I was so excited when I saw that this was launching again and I managed to pick it up from Sephora when I was in Paris over the new year.

Just as I expected these both smell amazing and have amazing colour pay off as well. I've always been a fan of Too Faced products after using their Chocolate bar palette so I knew I'd love this just as much. All the colours have an amazing pigment to them and blend so nicely together. I love the peachy glow from the Sweet Peach Glow palette its not to intense of a highlight but you get a lovely glow from it. I'm so glad I managed to pick these up whilst being in Paris and can't wait for the collection to launch in the UK so I can get some more peach goodies!

Life Update | University

Hello, I know it's been forever since I have done a blog post so I feel like I have some explaining to do as why I gave up blogging for a few months! In September I moved to Birmingham to go to University so most of my time has been taken up with settling into uni life! I can admit that I am loving uni so far and can't wait for the rest of my uni experience.

So in September I packed all my stuff up and moved to Birmingham to start studying for a Degree in Marketing. I did have a bit of a nightmare when I went to move into my uni halls and then got told they weren't ready for us to move into so I had to stay in a hotel for the first few nights of freshers which was a bit weird. After about a week we were finally able to move into our accommodation. It's weird too think that I have only been at university for a few months and I am already sorting out a house with a group of friends for next year!

Basically I wanted to write this post just to inform you guys of where I have been for the past few months! I thought as Christmas is just round the corner it would be the perfect time to get back into blogging!

Favourite High End Eye Shadow Palettes

Today I thought I would share some of my most favourite high end eye shadow palettes, you guys should let me know if you would like me to do a drugstore version on this post! Starting off with the newest eye shadow palette which I recently picked up whilst in Barcelona is the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette, I have only had this for just under a month now but I can already say it has become a firm favourite of mine. The first thing I noticed about this palette was the smell, it smells so good you could eat it (although I'd recommend not doing that lol). The shadows in this palette are so creamy and blend beautifully. One of the main thing I love about this palette is that you can go for really natural looks or you can really build the shadows up and go for a really intense look. I use this palette so much whether it is just for my everyday makeup or nights out!

The Urban Decay Naked Palettes are some of my most loved palettes that I own! I still need to get the original one to add to my collect but I love the ones I have. I own Naked 2, Naked 3 and Naked Smokey. I always end up going back to my naked palettes, the colour payoff is amazing and they last ages on the eye without creasing and are just so pretty! If their is anyone who is starting out with makeup and wants to make a high end purchase I would recommend the naked palettes to everyone!

The last palette I'm going to mention in this post is The Balm's Nude Tude, as you can see I love a good neutral palette so this goes well with that. I love the shades in this palette and they are all so wearable and I am able to get use out of each shade. The shadows are really pigmented and so easy to blend!

Barcelona Sephora Haul

For the past 5 days I have been in Barcelona on holiday and as I was there I just had to make a trip to Sephora as I have never actually been too one before! I picked up a few things as it was my birthday and my boyfriend also treated me to the Kat Von D palette which I have wanted for ages! I went into Sephora twice, the first time I just got the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in the shade Trooper which is a jet black shade. I have used this eyeliner a couple of times now and it is the best eyeliner I have ever used! I think it beats my other all time favourite which is the Stila Stay All Day eyeliner. 

On my second trip too Sephora which was on my birthday this is when I brought everything else. I got the Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette which I have wanted for so long and I can't wait too start using it. The shades are so nice and I think I will be able to use all of them! I also picked up one of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palettes, one thing I have too say about this palette is that it smells amazing! I have heard everyone going on about this palette and now I can see why everyone loves it. From Too Faced I also got one of their blushes in the shade - I Will Always Love You. This is a pretty peach shade with a slight shimmer in it. I love blushes like this and can't wait too start using it! The last thing I got was a Beauty Blender, I have wanted one of these for ages and they worked out cheaper when I was in Barcelona so I thought it was a great time to pick one up finally! I haven't used it yet, but can't wait too start using it as I have heard so many great things about it!

Drugstore Haul

So the other day whilst I was in town I thought I'd treat myself to some new makeup, I made my way into boots and super drug and this is what I picked up. Starting with boots, I noticed that a lot of Soap & Glory products had £2 off them so I repurchased two of my favourite products; these are the One Heck of a Blot Powder and the Primer. I have used these products many times before and they are some of my all time favourite base products! I then found myself looking at their lipsticks and I picked up two from their nudes collection, the shades I got are Love & O-Biege which is a really pretty nude shade which is a shine finish and then I also got Barley Pinking which is a pink nude which is also a shine finish.

I also went to Superdrug as I wanted too pick up a few things from Tanya Burr's new Soft Luxe range, the only thing they had in stock from this range was the nail polish in Piggy Bank. Its a really pretty muted pink shade and looks so lovely on the nails! From her previous collection I picked up the Hollywood eyeshadow pallet which has a lovely range of golds and browns. I also picked up a lipgloss in the shade Just Peachy! I love these lip glosses as they are so pigmented and smell amazing!
